Wooden Bedside Cabinets 2 Drawers

A set of two beautifully hand-painted red bedside cabinet, featuring a wonderful elephant design. They have been fairly traded from India!

They make great bedside cabinets - or lamp tables set on either side of a sofa, perhaps? Hand decorated by skilled artisans with traditional Indian elephant motifs set in a stylized woodland landscape.

Shades of bright red, turquoise, tangerine, and golden yellow predominate. Neatly finished with brass drawer handles, the drawers also have ‘stops’ fitted to the back - a safety feature that prevents the drawers from falling out.

The legs have been carved into an appealing curved shape and are decorated with floral motifs. The decoration extends across the top, front and side panels. The back panels are painted plain red and the drawer interiors have been finished in matt black.
